SO EXCITED for you to have the chance

to see this amazing city and all it has to offer!

Vancouver is, like anywhere else,

it's own little bubble, and I also thought you might like an

interactive guide that might give you a few ideas on

what to do while you're here!!

WELCOME TO VANCOUVER!!

THINGS TO DO

STANLEY PARK

Located downtown, Stanley Park is a popular choice for a day stroll, you can wander the park, rent a bike to ride the seawall, or enjoy one of the beaches located throughout... there's no wrong choice for a day at the park.

CAPILANO SUSPENSION

BRIDGE

The Capilano Suspension bridge is on the way up to Grouse Mountain, and is a great sightseeing stop to see this 450ft bridge spanned across at 230ft above the rapids, there's a full forest walk to play amongst the trees!

DAVIE VILLAGE

The Davie Village, a.k.a The Gaybourhood, is in the middle of the West End, steps to the ocean and to Sunset Beach. Lots of different restaurants, places to grab a drink amongst the colourful gaggle of gays, and always a drag show on somewhere on Davie.

GROUSE MOUNTAIN

Grouse mountain is great for amazing city views, seeing the bear habitats, or the lumberjack shows! You could also try your fitness prowess on the Grouse Grind (also known as mother natures stairmaster), and take the gondola back down... though worry not, it goes both ways ;)

GASTOWN

This is a great place to tell people more about your business, and the services you offer. Want to make this content your own? It's easy.

GRANVILLE ISLAND

Located just across the water from downtown, Granville island is a quick ferry ride from Sunset Beach right to their indoor open air public market. Art galleries, theatres, boutiques, live performers, artist, and the world famous Emily Carr school of art call Granville Island home.

THINGS TO KNOW

DINNER

HAWKSWORTH

Five-time winner of Best Upscale Restaurant in Vancouver Magazine’s Restaurant Awards, Hawksworth Restaurant is glamorous and elegant, yet relaxed and welcoming with warm and attentive service. Hawksworth Restaurant is located in the heart of the city at Georgia and Howe Streets within the legendary Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Great food, Great cocktails.

JOE FORTES

One of my fav go-to spots when I want a really good meal or am feeling a nicer night out. Great seafood place, and an absolute staple in the Vancouver food scene. I suggest the seafood linguini!

ST LAWRENCE

A newcomer to the Vancouver food scene, I've yet to have a chance to eat at St Lawrence, though it arrives with amazing fanfare and photos of some spectacular looking food! A great choice if you're in the mood for something French! Alternatively, L'abbottoir is also a fantastic choice!!

LUNCH/CASUAL

CACTUS CLUB

The original "casual fine dining", Cactus Club's are located all over the city and are a great place for reliably good food and a drink, and are easy to find! The yam fries are a hit here!

JOEYS

Similar to Cactus Club in a lot of ways, Joeys is another chain restaurant popular for an easy place to pick for a meal. Food and service is at a standard, great for an easy meal

STEAMWORKS BREWERY

Another Vancouver classic, Steamworks Brewery has been in Vancouver for a long while. Known for it's selection of on-site and off-site microbrewery style beer, it's a popular stop for travellers. Located right on the water near Gastown, and with plenty of seating space, Steamworks is the place to be for a burger and a beer!

TACOFINO

Originally starting on the island in the teeny tiny surfing town of Tofino in a food truck, Tacofino is amazing for tacos, nachos, and a delicious margherita! Locations in Yaletown and Gastown... but seriously... try the nachos.

BREAKFAST / BRUNCH

TWISTED FORK (DOWNTOWN LOCATION)

Basically my all time, and longest running favourite brunch place in the city! There's usually a bit of a wait as there's only 12 or 14 tables, but they will happily add you to a waitlist and send you a message when your table is ready! Friendly staff, and Cory (head chef/co-owner) always makes amazing food!!

CHAMBAR

Another favourite, and open for breakfast/brunch every day!! Chambar also has a sister restaurant with a similar menu called Cafe Medina, also delicious and cute, but Chambar is generally easier to get in to and takes reservations!

CATCH 122

A nice little restaurant near Gastown that serves up a pretty spectacular brunch! (Brunch is basically a sporting event in Vancouver if you can't already tell haha). Also serves brunch every day until 3pm!
